Celebrate the start of the 2026-2027 Cal Poly SLO Rugby Season! The 2026 Kevin Higgins & Founders Induction Banquet will take place on September 26 at the San Luis Obispo Veteran\u2019s Hall. (Address: 801 Grand Ave., San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees can expect the event to run from roughly 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year\u2019s agenda includes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Enjoy a Tri-Tip and Chicken BBQ, cocktails, wine, beer!\u00a0
– The Kevin Higgins Family will honor Kevin by providing four $1,000 scholarships to two Women and two Men.
– Nate Sylvia (former USA Eagle) and Paul McAndrews will be inducted into the Founders Club. 
– Plus amazing Silent and Live Auction items, with those raised funds going to support the Rugby Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you make it to town on Friday, stop by the Central Coast Brewery (The Hub) at 5 pm for a No-Host Gathering. \u00a0Located on Monterey, next to the Quality Suites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
