Celebrate the start of the 2026-2027 Cal Poly SLO Rugby Season! The 2026 Kevin Higgins & Founders Induction Banquet will take place on September 26 at the San Luis Obispo Veteran’s Hall. (Address: 801 Grand Ave., San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.)
Attendees can expect the event to run from roughly 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year’s agenda includes:
– Enjoy a Tri-Tip and Chicken BBQ, cocktails, wine, beer!
– The Kevin Higgins Family will honor Kevin by providing four $1,000 scholarships to two Women and two Men.
– Nate Sylvia (former USA Eagle) and Paul McAndrews will be inducted into the Founders Club.
– Plus amazing Silent and Live Auction items, with those raised funds going to support the Rugby Program.
If you make it to town on Friday, stop by the Central Coast Brewery (The Hub) at 5 pm for a No-Host Gathering. Located on Monterey, next to the Quality Suites.
