Thank you for supporting Cal Poly Rugby! The 2025 Higgins Scholarship/Founders Club Banquet will take place on Oct. 18 at the San Luis Obispo Veteran’s Hall. (Address: 801 Grand Ave., San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.) There will also be a no-host gathering at The Hub at Central Coast Brewing on Friday, Oct. 17 beginning at 5 p.m. (Address: 1701 Monterey St., San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.)
Attendees can expect the event to run from roughly 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year’s agenda includes:
- Recognizing the four Kevin Higgins scholarship recipients.
- Recognizing the Founders Club’s two new inductees, Ed Frantz and Jon Kollerer, both on the 2004 national championship runner-up team.
- Tri-tip, chicken BBQ dinner; sausage and bread appetizers; bar
- Silent and live auctions (Note: if you have an item — such as a vacation rental, art, wine, or athletic event tickets, air miles, etc. — and can donate it to one of the auctions, that would be greatly appreciated.)
